my site has indexing security issue and im guess same for everyone else. people are adle to see my index files, can you added something like Cpanel were if i:

1.log in cpanel
2.then find advanced
3.then find index manager
4. find where find are on hosting
5.No Indexing and save
6. you cud be done run test wiv old links

hi, im using v0.29.13 of EHCP, i have not needed to use the pre-installed version of bind9 until now, but want to start, i changed my domainname to point to my namesever which is the same name as my domainname, example: test.com then pointed to to ns1.test.com(yes the domain-host also asked for IP also) and i have been waiting for two days for my domain to connect to my server via my dns, and it still dose not connect with my dNS, i made sure i went to options>re-sync dns, but still not working, is their some settings which i have to change before it will work?

also i goning to use gadmin-bind 0.2.3(gui for bind) to monitor my bind but i dont know the paths to bind, can you tell me paths to:
1. chroot directory?
2. resolv.conf?
3. path to logs

Hello,

I have troubles with EHCP. I can't more use links
on my EHCP Panel, for example domains, or All clients.
The links in Tools all ok. And in Main Menu not ok, if I klick oh this links, I get right now a login menu with username and password for EHCP Panel login. Than after login, I try to klick on domains again, but immediately come login for EHCP Panel. Do you know about this trouble?

After uploading files, be it with ftp, included web ftp, ect... file ownership is set as www-data and the files cannot be removed, altered via php, ect... is there a work around for this?

After making some minor changes to the options of EHCP, apache2 no longer works. I tried to type service apache2 start in terminal as well as using force-reload, ect. to boot apache again but it didn't work. The terminal error is as shown here:

Hi everyone,

I've been looking at hosting control panels over the last week or so with the purchase of a new dedicated server, running Ubuntu 10.04 LTS - The other panel's I've looked at don't seem as feature rich as EHCP, so I was eager to give it a go.

I ran the install script, and everything went through OK from what I could see. I got to the end and seen "Installation completed" and proceeded to go to http://myip - I was greeted with simply "Under Construction" - Nothing more.

I seen another post on here where someone was experiencing the same problem, so I tried the solutions there. I tried accessing http://myip/vhosts/ehcp (which failed). I tailed the logfile and reloaded apache, nothing showed up in the syslog tail at all. I've rebooted the machine, started and stopped the EHCP daemon, done the same with apache, and still nothing.

Any more suggestions? I don't want to go down the re-install ubuntu phase if i can possibly avoid it, as I believe the data centre will charge for OS reloads. If it can be fixed without that, it would be great

Hello all,

Okay, I installed EHCP yesterday, and everything was working great after bvidinli helped me with the panel access problem.

I was able to add a website, add the MySQL database and the site is online and working great.

However, I now have the following issue. I added another domain, and added a MySQL db and user. All the connection info is correct, however the site states that access is denied. So i decided to check this out by logging into phpMyAdmin, and I couldn't login there either. No error message, it just redirects me back to the pma login page.

So, i decided to test to see if i could log in on the account i created yesterday, and although the site is working perfectly, phpMyAdmin states: #1045 Cannot log in to the MySQL server

I've checked that the mysql server is running, i've also issued a mysql, apache2, ehcp restart, and still nothing.

Any ideas?
