EVERY TIME i sync domains and possibly some other functions to do with cron
I get session errors and the only way is to delete the files in phptmpdir to stop the problem and so it becomes very annoying when i have to constantly sync domains after every upload or update of domains.
This only seams to happen with certain sites that have Databases.
These are my issue sites: socialengine and opencart.

This is rendering EHCP as a very annoying and useless CP (I am using 0.30 btw)
Can anyone please help resolve this issue ? I never had this issue in EHCP 0.28

First of all nice hosting panel.

That said I have a little problem. Actually two problems, but I think they are related. I am running 2 servers, 1 with v0.30.09 and the other with v0.32 and I have seen the problem in both. Both running on a Debian box.

Sometimes some sites (all running Concrete5 CMS) starts showing this error below:

open(/var/www/vhosts/my_user/my_domain.com/phptmpdir/sess_rt8khbci2hpai4fv8204lfrgg3, O_RDWR) failed: Permission denied (13) in Unknown on line 0 Warning: Unknown: Failed to write session data (files). Please verify that the current setting of session.save_path is correct (/var/www/vhosts/my_user/my_domain.com/phptmpdir) in Unknown on line 0

I then go in to /phptmpdir and delete all temp cache files, and all works again

Secondly, When I upload Concrete5 files and folders by FTP, of course I am able to delete these folders and files again and also change there rights. The problem is when Concrete5 sometimes creates new files/folders (cache) by it self, they get created as group "www-data" and owner "www-data" and then I am not able (sometimes) to delete or access these files/folders. Other times they get greated as group "www-data" and owner "vsftpd". Then everything works ok.

So just to round up. If a file is created with owner "www-data" I am in trouble. But if they are created with owner "vsftpd" it seems to be alright. How can I be sure that it would be consistent and all files/folders always can be manipulated by both ftp client and by php scripts.

While trying to connect to FTP, got this:
"libgcc_s.so.1 must be installed for pthread_cancel to work"
Solution:

Hi, I am new with ehcp. When we installed ehcp in our server, it create a new directory in /var/www/new/.

now our webroot is the /var/www/new/ it is set-up by the ehcp.

my problem now is that our other project were in the /var/www/ cannot be accessed and everytime that I access our domain, it will now go to the ehcp default site, and it cannot go to our old site category.

before we install the ehcp, if we go to our domain.
for example,

www.mydomain.com = it works fine
www.mydomain.com/proj1/ = works fine

after the installation of ehcp:

www.mydomain.com = ehcp default page
www.mudomain.com/proj1/ = not found

Does anyone have an idea about my case?

Today I run into issue I never met before. After rebooting my server ,got the next msg:
Attention!
ehcp daemon not running !
Please run it from command/line by:
sudo /etc/init.d/ehcp start

after doing so (several times ) I still have the same msg in EHCP

>> Output from sudo /etc/init.d/ehcp start ..


starting ehcp..
starting ehcp_daemon.py
root 5430 0.0 0.0 2808 1184 ? S 21:39 0:00 /bin/bash /var/www/new/ehcp/ehcpdaemon2.sh

Any idea why I can't run the ehcp daemon??

Hi first of all, EHCP is really great control panel to work with. I have install EHCP in clean ubutnu server 12.10 LTS:

I have added one domain. The domain is registered with godaddy. and I am hosting with my own server. The hosting is working fine.

I have also created one ftp user for this domain. But I cannot login with that.

When I login with root user, I can login to sftp. But when I try to login with other user, it just timeout.

Can you please help me with this issue?

I got an <code>500 Internal Server Error</code> after I try to delete a domain in my ehcp.

when I look to my error.log in my apache, I got this error :

<code>
Request exceeded the limit of 10 internal redirects due to probable configuration error. Use 'LimitInternalRe$</code>

I have tried to add this answers from http://www.bestdesigns.co.in/blog/request-exceeded-the-limit-of-10-internal-redirects

but it has the same error....

does anyone have an idea about my case?

I'm loving this software, but I'm having a few issues.

I can't get the DNS settings to work correctly. My DNS panel at my domain company points to my server, and my DNS settings on my server point to my domain company, but it's still not working.

The other thing that I would like to know, is which file makes the call and creates/edits the apache files when a customer signs up for services?? I would also like it create a database user, at the moment I have found that I have to do it manually.
