I would like to say before hand that i love how EHCP has turned out to be! .

I have ehcp 0.35 installed in ubuntu 12.04. I suddenly noticed that my mail server was being bombarded by spam. After running tail -f /var/log/mail.log, I noticed a high traffic of spam is coming out of my server. I was thinking on uninstalling postfix and reinstalling it but was afraid that it might not work anymore with echp. If i do so, are there any special configurations that need to be made? Any recomendations for /etc/postfix/main.cf once freshly reconfigured?

I installed EHCP 0.30.9 installed in Ubuntu Server 12.04. I have tried several times to create a backup of my whole server using the backup utility in the EHCP GUI. After a few minutes, It does sends me an e-mail notifying me that the backup is done but when I check the folder under /var/backup/, the folder is empty.

I tried tail -f /var/log/ehcp.log and what it shows is like something is stuck in a loop.

The reason for the backup is that i am trying to move this server into a new Ubuntu with EHCP server.

What could be causing that?

Hi, i have a problem with my ehcp installation, after upgrade from php 5.3 to php 5.4 i got an error message after login in the panel.

The message is:

Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /var/www/new/ehcp/classapp.php on line 6560.


How may i solve this error?

Hi!

I am trying to connect via ftp but I can not get in. I am trying to use PAM but I do not know where to get the .db file that has all the passwords.

I was thinking of using something like this for PAM:

Login using htpasswd file that does not work:

auth required pam_pwdfile.so pwdfile /etc/vsftpd/passwd
account required pam_permit.so

However there is no need to create my own pwd file since there is an existing record from EHCP so my real question is: Where does EHCP hold it's ftp passwords? If someone answers me that I can (probably) figure out the rest on my own.

P.S. I am not very clear about it but I hope someone gets it. I am basically trying to login with the existing credentials but for some reason it does not work for me??

have tried installing ehcp several times now, but ftp will not work on ANY version of ubuntu. I've currently installed it on ubuntu 10.04 but have tried other version as well, It simply doesn't work. Problem is another user asked about this on your forum last month and hasn't received an answer yet either, so was wondering if this project is dead?
I noticed that your home page mentions this problem in versions above 11.10 but it actually doesn't work in any version.
Also, i noticed that the control panel is very slow at loading pages, staggers a lot. Any advice or is this project abandoned?

hello (sorry for my bad english i m french)

I install EHCP on my web hosting.

Its works great

But i try backup, when i did a backup domain (web site + mysql + mail) its working ok ok
But when i tried a general backup ( all website + all mysql + all mails) nothing done ....
I look in the folder nothing ....

In my backup list its write "in progress" but nothing change ....

but it s not working

Have a fresh install of EHCP and it worked for about 2 days.. now when i try to log in the controlpanel i get the following message..
