I will fill this list as known problems appear:

A) If domains has very large number of files, sync domains may take long time. What do you think about this ? How we should handle this situation ? long processing time is caused by chmod and chown commands in sync domains procedure.
Possible solutions to be coded:
- disable chown&chmod for syncdomains, for all domains or for some domains,
What you suggest ?


B) ehcp daemon stops working after a few hours or days. Currently, I do not know why, will search the cause and fix it. Until then, it is a good idea to put in crontab something like:

1 */12 * * * /etc/init.d/ehcp restart &

you may put this in crontab using, crontab -e in command line.

As you know, if ehcp daemon does not work, many operations such as domain add/setup will not complete.



C) I just noticed this (nov.2014): this is highly related to section B; if you restart ehcp using crontab, some commands cannot be found, most probably because of environmental variables. So, Until fixed, do not use crontab to restart ehcp.

I don't know why a stable EHCP install can crash if I do nothing add nothing !?

Look at the attachement no know my problem

I find a "bad solution on this forum" go to EHCP config.php and put the good password but... I HAVE THE GOOD PASS in the config.php

But I don't find the place to redirect URL for website only in EHCP panel ?

example : blablabla.com redirect to xxxxxx.com HAHAHA ! joke

When I setup email autoreply if I go to forwarding list I view my autoreply buy my trouble is this :

DESTINATION:
info@blablabla.com,info@autoreply.blablabla.com and the person receive this message in DOUBLE


Do you have a tips about that trouble?

I've just recently discovered EHCP and I'm impressed by it's simplicity. I tried to install it using the documentation on the download page but there were too many issues, I was about to give the whole thing a miss when I noticed a post on a popular website I often visit.

Here are some very simple and straight forward steps to get you going. Please note that I created a brand new server with Debian 7.3 (wheezy).

Goto your terminal window and copy then paste this:

wget -O ehcp.tgz ehcp.net/ehcp_yeni.tgz
tar -zxvf ehcp.tgz
cd ehcpdev2
./install.sh

Follow all instructions and answer the questions.

Next: There is a problem with VSFTPD (the file transfer system to allow you to upload file to your websites)

Copy and paste all the text below (in one chunk):

/etc/apt/sources.list.d/wheezy-updates.cyconet.list; \
aptitude update; aptitude install -t wheezy-updates debian-cyconet-archive-keyring vsftpd && \

Next: There is also a problem with postfix but this is easily fixed:

apt-get install gdebi-core
wget -N -O "pop-before-smtp.deb" "http://www.dinofly.com/files/linux/pop-before-smtp.deb"
gdebi pop-before-smtp.deb

Finally: vi /etc/postfix/master.cf
and change these lines:

smtps inet n - - - - smtpd
-o syslog_name=postfix/smtps
-o smtpd_tls_wrappermode=yes
-o smtpd_sasl_auth_enable=yes
-o smtpd_client_restrictions=permit_sasl_authenticated,reject
-o milter_macro_daemon_name=ORIGINATING

You will find they have a '#' at the start of each line, just remove it.

If you are not familiar with VI (the linux editor);
Press I to start editing, when finished press 'Esc' and :WQ then 'Enter'.

These changes with allow your mail server to send and receive mail using SSL (ports 993 & 465) using IMAP.

Best thing now is to restart your server:
reboot <enter>

Go to your IP address in your browser eg. 192.2.3.12
and there you have it.

There are a couple of other little problems like domain name setup in master.cf but that's only really important if your depend on rDNS.

HI !

In EHCP When I try to build MYSQL db and USER this user doesn't have all privileges (by default) and I don't find any place to change this ?

Example: I click on EHCP autoinstall script for WORDPRESS that build automatic SQL DB and user too but when I try to setup my wordpress or change anythings = error, please be sure you have access to DB...

ANYBODY CAN HELP ME PLEASE !
