Hey i need to change the paths of ehcp

Let me try to show u how u mean -

in /etc/apache2/sites-enabled

I change DocumentRoot /var/www

To DocumentRoot /home/var/www

and

<Directory /var/www> to <Directory /home/var/www>

After i do this ehcp no longer works how can i fix edit the ehcp?

ehcp uses and integrated with vsftpd,
so, if you remove vsftpd, you cannot use some functions of ehcp, mostly domain files etc.
So, you should not remove vsftpd if you want to use ehcp.

To solve now:
if you have no or few domains , then just reinstall ehcp

if you have many domains,
* then, backup all, then reinstall ehcp, restore all domains
* or: manually install vsftpd and fix as programmed in install_lib.php

Ehcp yi bir server a kurdum normal olarak bütün fonksiyonları ile beraber çalışmakta.

burada 2 sorum olacak.

1- Subdomain oluşturdum subdomain.domainname.com ve bunu 79.123.123.123 nolu ip ye yönlendirdim.
normalde oluşturduğum subdomain ile sitenin açılması lazım fakat subdomain.domainname.com yazdığımda siteye yönleniyor adres satırında yönlendirdiğim serverin ipsi çıkıyor. Normalde ip çıkmaması gerekmezmi?

2- ehcp 2 server idare edememzmiyiz. Bu soruyu şunun için soruyorum
Maillerimi ayrı bir server üzerinden idare etmek istiyorum.

Domaini oluşturdum fakat o domaine ait mailleri farklı bir serverda saklamak istiyorum.

Bunu yapabilirmiyim.

i started to think about this when one of our sponsors, www.trowerhosting.com, donated us a windows vps server.. I thank to them here...

After geting that server, i started to think what can i do with a windows server...

After thinking a while, i realised that:
- i can host domains on apache on windows,
- i can use mysql, phpmyadmin,
- i can run ftp manually and so on..

then i started a bit, put ehcp files, created manually ehcp db on mysql..
i was able to see ehcp gui on my browser...

i started ehcp daemon manually, on windows command line...
since ehcp is fully designed as php (%99 php, %1 bash for installation),
i was able to run ehcp daemon too...

Now, i think that, i will be able to manage/add domains in this windows server,
i will be able to manage mysql databases...

But i will not able to use ftp, emails through ehcp...

this was a brain gymnastic... maybe something more happen...

I've been jusing ehcp now for a half year. I'm very happy with this control panel, the control panel can do anything what you expect of a paid control panel like cpanel, plesk. Three days ago I have installed version 0.29. It's working fine. But I was wondering if it is possible to make a automatic backup. Now you can only backup by hand. Can I do this with crontabs? So yes, what command must I use? Or is this an idea for a next version?

ads are for supporting ehcp, and appears only panel, not else.. . sory for them...
You can remove them by editing template files..
You can install ehcp on linux, by downloading ehcp and run install.sh
That will setup ehcp to use it as a hosting server.
you need to open ports 20,21,25,53,80,110,143 for a normal hosting operation..

please ask additional questions in forums section...

I am wondering how to possible run mulitple websites from one ip address. I would like to run different websites for customers on my server. I seen your hosting panel and figured i would give it a shot. I am just wondering how could i do this and also how to restrict user's from resellers also. Basicly i want to run a server like godaddy for customer's with like cpanel but instead of cpanel your panel. Is it possible and if so is there a tut to show me how to. Thank you and good panel, would be better with out ad ons. I also plan on donating if all goes well with this panel.

My name is Juan and I live in Spain.
My English is useless but I can count on my partner to translate this.

Lately I have been testing several control panels (open source, non open source). I have arrived to the conclusion that ehcp is the best solution considering the value for money (being free as it is).

We all know that it is still under development and there's still a lot of room for improvement, but if you compare it with other solutions, such as Cube Panel (which is not free), there's really not much difference.

So I want to encourage the developer to continue this way and to incorporate a bit more safety (indeed open source), such as antivirus and, specially, for the spam protection, which I believe would make this become the ideal solution.

I've been working with ehcp for two months now in a very motivating project, and it works fine.

- Im missing Phpmyadmin, and i do not know the right command to copy/past my phpmyadmin from /usr/share/phpmyadmin/ other topic didn't help becouse im useing Kubuntu unix.

- When i add a Client/Domain Owner what will be his URL then, http://82.73.28.164 This is my DNS Link. Like adding a "Easy Add Domain" but the domain is not linked yet to our DNS. what kind of url will get the client then ?

- I can't login to mine mail services, "ERROR: Connection dropped by IMAP server." I installed all kind of IMAP services at "adept Manager" inside of kubuntu but it isn't working.
