Hi Deleveloper. I have just installed EHCP. It' s great but I have found an error on WebFtp section. When I click the link for WebFtp from my panel, it shows a page like this .....

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in /var/www/vhosts/ehcp/net2ftp/settings.inc.php on line 76

I've an ubuntu 8.04.1 server. It worked until two days ago. But now dont allow access external (201....), only allow access internal (10.0.0.188).

I am running my server on router i have port 80 & 21 over
I can view my page both by going to
http://localhost
http://192.168.2.XX
http://BYMYIPADDRESS
but this takes me to my the control panel

I added my domain name

now when I go to my domaiin website where I registered my domain
namecheap.com when I try to transfter dns to webhost
what should I type there.
if I type my ip address It doesn't let me type my address there.


this is what it says on the page where I have option to add dns server name


"Please enter DNS name only (ex: ns1.mydomain.com). Please don't enter IP
addresses. You can enter up to five name servers. It is advisable to enter atleast
two nameservers for a domain. Please note that it will take up to 24 hours for
the changes to take effect. "

This is a known issue...
in fact, this error is not important...

because,
ehcp try to install both courier auth libraries, whichever available for your current system.

only one of them installable,
thats why, one of them fails to install, which is normal.

this is done to guarantee install of one of courier auth libraries.
the names are different, so, both is tried to install.

dont wory about this error..
your ehcp installation should work okey ...

Hello Devs!<br /><br />No, I just installed EHCP at first time. My suggesion is, that use roundcube, not Squirrel mail. For simply mailing, it's good, but look at one round cube installation. It's design, and services are more useful for a simple user.<br /><br />I start to test out, how can it be installed. I post there my howto later.

I plan to implement password protected directories in ehcp.

I want to ask your idea for method of password protected directories, that is, apache authentication,

I currently search for methods for this.
apache htaccess and htpasswd methods are slow at high user counts....

lib_auth_mysql has outdated...

is there another module/way.

What do you suggest ?
