is there a way to install fetchmail to use on this system so once you have setup a domain and email account you can use fetchmail and download other email into an inbox. if not is there an easy way to add this or should this be put in the feature request list.

I have my site and a few clients sites hosted on my webserver running ehcp. For email they are using third party options. When a email is sent from the site to a user via a form or app the email never makes it(users email is something@blank.com).

so blank@blank.com on server trying to send to adam@blank.com will not work. if i send the email to another domain (doesn't matter if its on the same server or not) it works.

Any ideas?

Hello, i cant send/receive emails from/to some servers... I receive a log like this:

the server is sending emails to any email address except for emails with the same domain name as the site (publicishealthcare.com). I looked at the mail.log and i can see that all the emails are being relayed except for the domain name emails, they are being delayed or bounce due to unknown user.
My domain ARecord @ is pointing to my server but my MX record is pointing to my company's mail server which handles the emails. Please help.

When logged in as a addmin, i can add a client using the quick and custom buttons.
and on the new client options you have a field to enter one's email address.

But when some one comes to the main EHCP login page and lets say a new customer wants an account, and so clicks on the Apply for an Account link,
upon the page your then have to choices to choose from, ok lets apply for a hosting account, so you get these options

BUT NO email feild.
how can the customer know his login details or if or when his account is setup and all the rest of his/her account details.

maybe its a over looked part or maybe iv missed something,

It's been a few months since I originally set up my server (Ubuntu 10.04 with EHCP), and I never had email working, but now I must address the issue. Unfortunately I've forgotten quite a bit about how everything works.

My problem is that I cannot send or receive emails. Port 25 is not blocked. I think perhaps I do not have my MX records set correctly, but I cannot seem to find the relative info. for that.

I'm not sure where to start, but I can say that when I do tail -f /var/log/syslog it says: (connect to alt4.gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com[74.125.157.27]:25: Connection ti med out)

Any help is more than appreciated, I hope all is well and you are having success with ehcp!

I have EHCP installed on Ubuntu server with 10.4 GUI. I can not get this server to be seen outside my local network. I am a bare bones NOBO to this so laymens terms are best. Should I set the server IP to my ISP ip or do I give it a local IP? like I said I am a NOBO so all the help I can get is great....Thanks in advance

I want to migrate from another system (ispCP Omega) to EHCP.
I have readed the post http://www.ehcp.net/?q=node/869 and related, but i don't understand if my old email can be transfered to the new system, so that my customer don't lost their email.

And if I can, I should transfer email from the old directory structure to

Got a weird issue. I have a wordpress site that uses a contact form to send a email via the local server to a email user for said domain that is setup within the ehcp panel. I have noticed emails sent this way do not come in. Sending email from outside the localhost to the user works fine. Suggestions?
