i have a odd problem in echp. if i create a new mailbox then login to squirrelmail it seems to automatically have the following folders

inbox
drafts
sent
trash

how ever if i log into roundcube instead of Squirrelmail after creating a mailnox the only folder there is the inbox. i tested this out by setting up 2 mailboxes and then logging into Mailbox A on SM and Mailbox B on RC. Are these folders being created by SM. If not what could be causing this.

I'm having problems sending email using Squirrel Mail included in EHCP. I'm using the latest version of 0.29.15 on an Ubuntu 10.04 based platform.

When I use the command below:

eric@eric-desktop:~$ echo "mailtest" | sendmail myemail@myemail.com

I receive the email in my inbox.

However, I am still receiving the following error when trying to send mail through the EHCP Webmail:

111 Can't open SMTP stream.

I can't figure out why it's giving me the error. Any ideas?

Hi!

I can't receive mails from outside. If I send myself a mail from the terminal everything is ok. via Terminal I can also send emails to any E-Mail adress.

In /etc/postfix/main.cf I added my domain to mydestination.

Problem2: I haven't got a log file under /etc/syslog


ad Courier: Imap seems to be working. I can fetch the mails I sent via terminal with Thunderbird.

I have the newest build of ehcp and I was wondering how I can change my mail.mydomain.com to point to the RoundCube mail sign in page. I've given up trying to connect google apps with ehcp so I've resulted to using the built in mail which in my case is squirrel mail and RoundCube, I don't want to use squirrel mail though. Thanks for any replies.

I want to use my smtp server on my site so: smtp.mydomain.com, and it works on port 25, but most of the emails are being sent to the junk email folder, and when I test port 465 or 597 on telnet it won't connect. Can I switch ports in ehcp? I'm on the newest build .15. Thanks!

Echp kurdum. mail adreslerimi açtım çok güzel çalışıyor, mail için spam filtresi ekledim.

fakat mail gönderirken sunucum kimlik doğrulaması pek istediğim gibi çalışmıyor.

eğer işaretli olsada olmasada mail gönderiyor.

bunu sadece sunucum kimlik doğrulaması gerektiyor işaretli iken mail göndermesini işaretli değilse gönderilmemesini nasıl sağlarım.

Ok, I have been getting this error for a little while now. I only get it every now and then. I know it has something to do with my DNSZoneTemplate but I'm kinda at a loss as to what exactly needs to be changed. My web server's name is Web01 and my domain name is daycare.us. Hi, I'm using ehcp for my site, now you've created the site works perfectly all really, even emails are fine, send and receive emails, but I want to connect with my Thunderbird e-mail, but I'm having problems, As I can download mails with thunderbird, but I can not send them because we are saying that the SMTP server is taking too long in responding.
How do I configure the SMTP server based on my server.
I used this: smtp.miodominio.it but nothing, then I used mail.miodominio.it and still nothing.

How can I do, who gives me a hand to configure thunderbird with ehcp?
