Hi, i am having some problems login in to the ftp server....
before i installed echp i had my vsftpd server running without problems but, after the installation i cannot login to the ftp server.
all other features of ehcp are running just fine, how i can check and fix this problem?

Hi,

After my last problems, tryed a new server and used unbuntu 8 this time, No errors and i dont need to login to phpmyadmin to delete domains, the control panel works fine,

apart from.......

When i install a script, says its installed fine etc, but doesnt show it on the list if i want to delete it etc, and it hasent even installed the script at all,

anyways of getting this to work?

I have installed ehcp successfully but I have the problem regarding the DNS Server. After creating the domain name i checked my domain with nslookup command it show like this:

C:\>nslookup abc.com
Server: dns.xyz.com
Address: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: abc.com
Address: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

Why it shows Non-authoritative answer? If you have solution then please......

In login page http://myip/vhosts/ehcp have this

"Your dns/server ip is set as:MY IP, if it is not detected/set correctly, please set it in your Settings"

In Settings i add this Local ip of server: my ip adress
dnsip (outside/real ip of server): my ip adress

Which part of the ip adress is wrong?

and how i can redirect co.cc domain to my hosting i have domain in my ehcp thank you

I am wondering if there is a way to get EHCP to email me a mySQL database every day for backup purposes?
I know next to nothing about linux so things need to be a simple way to do it.

hiya,

i was using ubuntu 8.10 and it was amazing but i had a few problems

i needed to install mod_security and other php extensions which were only available for ubuntu 9.04

so i desided to upgrade my server a little,

i backuped everything from within the ehcp control panel (USING BACKUP SECTION OF CONTOL PANEL) AND also from within phpmyadmin (using export as .sql) AND using mysqldump -p --all-databases> databases.sql

so i have 1 or 2 backups of my server,

i then reformatted my server and installed ubuntu 9.04 and ehcp
i setup the server how it was setup last time just with version 9.04 instead of 8.10

and then i went into the restore panel in EHCP and clicked restore and entered the file and it then restored it woo!!!

but when the page refreshed it had lots and lots of errors all over the page

it was errors like CANNOT CONNECT TO MYSQL!!!, ACCESS DENIED TO MYSQL, www-data access DENIED ALSORTS

what am i doing wrong here?

Seems that anyone easily can add domains to my installations. I keep getting this:

0.29.10-ehcp: thuongtin.net domain set up in your ehcp panel ....
0.29.10-ehcp: funnysmilies.com domain set up in your ehcp panel at...

This is a standard installation so I can do something with that, but thought you should now...

I successfully installed ehcp on an amazon ec2 server. It is working well so far but I ran into a problem that i now solved and I believe it may be a bug in ehcp.

After installation I was able to add a virtual domain and successfully navigate to it after updating my name servers to my ec2 instance. I then was playing around and added to the custom http section in the new vistual host via ehcp:

<h1>test</h1>
</body>
</html>

After I added this and added a new virtual host, the new virtual host navigated to the wrong location (the "This is an ehcp server" main page). The only virtual host working was the first one and I could not explain it.

I then did an apache restart and saw that the apachehcp.conf file had the acutal <HTML> above in it. I then deleted the custom http in the apachehcp.conf file and all the other virtual hosts then worked.

Is custom ehcp working correctly for other people? Is this a bug?
