Hello! Is great that backup can be made from panel!
I have 3 problems about backup.

1. Can this backup run automaticaly once on a week?
2. How can I copy that file on another computer, in case the server dies... Can it be copied automaticaly?
3. Why normal users cannot backup their sites? Only the admin can do it.

I need some help if it is possible
On some server I have installed EHCP and it works great for this site I need on that server
but there is 2 radiostream's thats currently on port 8080 and port 8090
this radio was transfered from other server that was also linux but with cPanel
now when I try to start stream on 8080 I have this problem
EHCP says at port 8080: Hi, this is ehcp-python background proses, under development now... you will find usefull tools here soon...

is there some way to change this to something else because there is lot of listeners that are using our radio and use that port for it?

Answer:
that ehcp_daemon.py is experimental (as of 2010, march) and you can stop it.
to stop,
killall ehcp_daemon.py
also disable lines in /etc/init.d/ehcp that starts ehcp_daemon.py each time.

If your server is in your internal network, and it serves to someone that is inside your internal network, then, your users may not reach domains in that server, unless you do something special.

Up to now, I described hosts file technique to overcome this problem.

Now, I introduce a new approach.

dns view statement has some powerful features, whis is able to respond differently, according to asking ip. so, we can use this feature to show people that are inside your network (same network as your server).


dns view statement is like:

match-recursive-only yes_or_no ;

[ zone_statement; ...]
};


for this to work, we need to modify named.conf. Also, we need to modify ehcp classapp.php so that, it produces a new named_ehcp_internal.conf file with internal ip addresses. I will do this and post here results.

in ehcp dir:
dnszonetemplate file: this is master default dns template. The dns zone files for all domains are built from this file. So, if you want your changes be active for all domains, edit this file.
zone contents are built from this file.


dnsnamedconftemplate: named.conf template file. to change general structure of named.conf file, change this file.


apachetemplate: this is master default apache template. apache configuration is built using this file. if you want to change all apache configs for all domains, change this file.


apachetemplate_passivedomains: apache config file for passive domains.

apache_subdomain_template: template for subdomains

Most email problems are caused by non-clean ubuntu installs.
Make sure you installed ubuntu freshly, and after, you installed ehcp directly.

Some email problems may be fixed by ehcp gui->options->"fix mail config"

I assume that you have list of usernames as plaintext
for example:

and so on.
save this info to a file named emailusers.txt

Then, on linux console, give following command:

This will write a file named emailsql.sql in same dir.

The contents of that file should be like:

Now, copy&paste contents of that file into your mysql, using phpmyadmin or mysql console, in ehcp db.



That way, users above will be added to your ehcp mysql database, users will be able to connect using default password of 123456
