Hi, in my phpinfo the REMOTE_ADDR is pointing to to a wrong external IP address, i dont know why this is, but it is giving problems to some of my domains, as sometimes they point to this other IP, this is wrong, can you help change this IP to 127.0.0.1 or whatever the IP is meant to be, i say it maybe because of nginx because this problem with the REMOTE_ADDR, i have seen on other forums that many other people have had this problem that as made by nginx, i install mod_rpaf to resolve this but this as not worked.

you are using nginx right ?
if yes, this seems a problem specific to nginx.
I am not an nginx expert, so, please search on nginx docs for a solution (such as a config change etc.), then, I may describe you how to apply the change in ehcp.

remote_addr is not your external real ip.
it is ip of "client/user" that is accessing the page.

ok, well then i am very confused, that dose not explane why some of my domain point to this other IP address at random times?
It is my old server IP, but my new server has never used it in anyway, the only thing i use my old IP for is on my laptop with outlook express, to view my server mails, but that should not effect my DNS?

ok i have a very simple setup:
Ubuntu 9.10 x64
Ehcp 0.29.15.4
1x External IP
1x router
The problem is my domains seek my old external IP at random times, i dont know why, i have never use my old IP on the current server i use right now,
my old IP is now only use for home internet use, and i only use outlook express to get my emails from server domains.
i did once do some testing of the new server to server function in ehcp, but as since removed that, maybe their is data in the system that did not get flushed? as that is the only other contact my server has with my old IP, this problem keeps happening at random times, like for example one of my domains is budgie-pic.com sometimes when i go to login the website, i get pointed the OS of my router for my old IP, then if i try to load the url without the www. it will load partly but thats it, i will then have to wait for about an hour then reload page then it will load fine. this happens at random to the different domain on my server but why? is it something to do with the wwww. prefix in apache or DNS template or is it a bind9 issues? please help
