How to map a URL
#1
hi,
i have a website that has different sections, foe example blogs, forum, i want to organize my domain name so that it helps to be better mapped for google also easy to share links for people.

if my site is: www.mydomain.com
i would like my blogs url section to be: blogs.mydomain.com
and my forums url section to be called: forum.mydomain.com

i was able to do this very easily with cpanel, can EHCP do this yet? and if so, how?

I think, this is a matter of rewrite engine,

manually define a rewrite directive in "edit apache template for this domain" like:

blogs.mydomain.com -> www.mydomain.com/blogs.php?.....

this is not a redirect directive, only an explanation.
refer to apache rewrite module documentation.

maybe a friend of developers can write a php-gui for this in ehcp..
