Ok, here are the problems I ran into. It never created a file called /etc/postfix/main.cf. When I got to the end, It failed to start MySQL. After that it said sendmail: fatal: open /etc/postfix/main.cf : No such file or directory

I saw one such problem in past, but don't remember it was why,
it seems that postfix is not installed somehow..
we need to know figure out why it is notinstalled..
on console, try:
apt-get install postfix,
and send the output...

1. i tried that and restarted it and nothing happened
2. I'm not really experienced with bash, so would connecting to the server help? SSH I'm linuxhero

alright, uhh, I'm going to try to use ubuntu server 9 instead of 8.10 and see if that works because I tried it again this morning and I got the same errors
