Postfix authentication failed - sample main.cf

I reinstalled ehcp into a brand new server, Ubuntu-8.10.
The problem with postfix persist.

I also add the new classapp.php file.
I think the problem couldn't be solved, shoul I try an other distribution?

The problem its that the server its far away, so I can't play around with the distributions..

Any ideas???
It is possible to modify master.cf file from postfix?? or? the daemon??
How could I reinstall just postfix for ehcp??

I tested on my server too, and it's a problem with ehcp. Smtp works without authentication on my server. I'm looking into it.

Later edit: pop before smtp works fine; this is why i thought smtp worked without authentication.
So just disable smtp authentication in Outlook and it should work.

In any case It stil not working...

In MsOutlook the pop3/smtp inputs are as follows?
mail.domain.com
or
domain.com
??

as other friend (deconectat) said, dont use ssl or any tls encryption, only plain passwords.. .

i put my main.cf at http://www.ehcp.net/diger/main.cf
so that you can have a look.
this is config my working server
i hope i did not left any passwords there... if there is, i should remove it

It's not working for me, the last version.

With webmail everything are OK.

But connecting thru E-mail client no way.
