helo command

Hi,

I need to know how to set the name names that returns to helo command for my domains.

i have 2 domains and i get busted by my clients firewall because the name that apear on helo isen't the same as the domain.
How can i chage/fix this ?

i suppose you are talking about hello commands by email server, that is postfix MTA, while talking to an email client.

To set that name, go to /etc/postfix

look inside main.cf
change myhostname to whatever you want.

note that, hello reply can be single through whole server, cannot be set per-domain, as I know.

I run the ehcp_postfix and mentioned 1 domained ... the it from my client also told me that i cand mention the name for ici domain in somethink called banner.

i really don't know how to solve this problem for al my domains because after 2-3 mails i get block by the firewall Sad( .
I also have to set some reverse dns and that i understeand the isp has to doit .. i think.
