Can not log in

Hi.
I am new to Ubuntu Server 10.10 and ECHP. I installed it successfully. But I can not log in it rejects my username/password no matter what I try. I tried to log in with the same password and username i use on Ubuntu.
Please help.

i got it. i didnt realize the default administrator user is called admin
