Dns Help please
#1
I setup a domain with co.cc, and I want to make it work so that my server can be ns1.mysite.co.cc and ns2.mysite.co.cc. I am not sure where to start. I have my domain name, and I have the server port forwarded. I don't know how to set it up where I can enter the ip address to point to the server. Help is appreciated. Maybe a tutorial to help everyone would be nice, because many people also have this problem

I bought a domain and pointed it to my server, and when I try to say ns1.mysite.info and ns2.mysite.info, it says it's not registered. How to I get that

I also tried the helper how to, and that just couldn't help me enough with knowing how to setup my nameservers so I can point other people to it. I want to be able to allow people to setup there domain to point at my nameservers, can you give a step by step instruction on how to do that. Thanks.

If you say your domain and your ip, I can point you the wrong point..
Here is brief step by step instructions:

Buy your domain in a seller(registrar), say xxx.com (You already did this)

On domain seller panel, redirect dns of xxx.com to ns1.xxx.com, with your server's external ip. to test it, you may do a "whois" to check if it is activated.

On your server, setup xxx.com in ehcp, do nothing else on ehcp/server,

make sure that your router/modem redirects necessary ports to your server, your firewall (if exists) allow those ports.

This way, your domain should work.

it won't let me do ns1.xxx.com, it says it's not certified. I don't know what to do, like do I put the site setup on Ehcp before I direct it to ehcp? I would give a link to and image to help more.

I do not see that. I'm registered with godaddy. Would connecting to my server at all help and connecting to the registrar?
