Mail stopped working
#1
Hi.<br /><br />I've been using EHCP for some days now, but I've encountered a weird problem today. I just can't send mail. Receiving mail works fine.<br /><br />Here is automated mail I receive every time I'm trying to send a mail: <br /><br />Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.<br />Quote:<div class="xoopsQuote"><blockquote><br /> Subject: RE: test<br /> Sent: 6/8/2008 5:41 PM<br /><br />The following recipient(s) could not be reached:<br /><br /> 'Name Surname' on 6/8/2008 5:41 PM<br /> 550 5.1.1 <<script type="text/javascript">var id='username';var host1='domain.com>:';var host2='';document.write('<a href="mailto:'+id+'@'+host1+'.'+host2+'">'+id+'@'+host1+'.'+host2+'</a>');</script> Recipient address rejected: User unknown in local recipient table<br /></blockquote></div><br /><br />Any thoughts on this one please?<br /><br />Thank you.

I don't know why, but the first message is messed up.
What I was trying to say that I have a weird problem trying to send an email. The message I receive every time I try to send a mail is:

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.
Subject: RE: test
Sent: 6/8/2008 5:41 PM

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

'Firstname Lastname' on 6/8/2008 5:41 PM
550 5.1.1 <user@domain.com>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in local recipient table

Here are the contents of postfix main.cf file (created automatically, nothing changed):

normally you dont need to change main.cf, it should work fine, so did you, as i see..

did you setup user@domain.com email user for your domain ? from panel ?
make sure user exists for your domain...

if yes, let me see result of your /var/log/syslog as you try to send mail,
if you wish, i may help you online - as much as i can - by msn: ehcpdeveloper@iyibirisi.com

see you.

Hello and thank you for your reply.
It was a hostname problem which has been changed to default after a reboot.
Everything works fine now.

Thank you.
