Failed to start apache :

I'm getting this problem.


* Starting web server apache2
(99)Cannot assign requested address: make_sock: could not bind to address xxx.xxx.xxx.xx:80
no listening sockets available, shutting down
Unable to open logs
...fail!


Any help please

some other process/program may use port 80

try to kill them in console
and,
additionally, it says cannot open logs.
this is mostly caused by a deleted log dir.
either re-makedir that logdir, or remove that from apache config
apache config for domains are in apachehcp.conf and similar files in ehcp dir.

Try running the following to get the process ID (first number):
ps ax | grep apache2

Then this after:
kill -9 <process id>
