External connections to MySql and ehcp

We have problems with ehcp when mysql is listening to ip different from 127.0.0.1. Is there any known issues about that?

There is no problem with mysql, with ehcp.

You should just enable mysql for external connections,
to do that:
open /etc/mysql/my.cnf
find
bind-address = 127.0.0.1
and comment it (disable it)

then,
on phpmyadmin,
add a new user, with remote ip and username

thats it.
